Awards

Statement:

Dragonfly Dreams won the Gold prize, Benjamin Franklin Award for Young Reader Fiction, and the Silver prize for Book Cover Design.  Other awards in 2021-22 include the IPPY award, Feathered Quill Book Award, Pinnacle Book Achievement Award, the Firebird Award, and the Royal Dragonfly Book Award.

Dragonfly Dreams has won the following awards:

• The Benjamin Franklin Award – Gold prize –Young Readers Fiction; Silver prize for Book Cover Design, presented by the Independent Book Publishers Association
• The Feathered Quill Book Award, 1st place, 2021 Young Readers Fiction
• 2021 Best Book in YA Historical Fiction presented by Pinnacle Book Achievement Award
• National Indie Excellence Award, 1st place for Friendship
• Independent Publishers Book Award – Silver, Best Regional Fiction for Asia/Australia/New Zealand
• Firebird Book Award – first place in five categories: Historical Fiction, Pre-teen Fiction, Juvenile Fiction, book cover design, and Asia/Pacific Rim – for 4th Quarter 2021
• 2021 Royal Dragonfly Book Award, second place MG fiction; honorable mention historical fiction

These awards are in the categories of young readers fiction, historical fiction, friendship, Asia/Pacific Rim, and book cover design.
